Cathy Johnson, RDH, BSDH, MBA

Dental hygienists are caring people committed to helping others obtain and maintain a higher level of health. Patient care is the priority for every hygienist; sharpening instruments, however, is something that is often neglected because of a lack of time to sharpen or a lack of skill to sharpen effectively. I have moved my career into more of a supportive role so I can help others work more efficiently.

“I love meeting and serving the elite of our profession!”

Catherine Johnson attended Texas Woman’s University, where she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1981 and an MBA in 2015. In her 37 years of clinical experience as a dental hygienist, she has developed exceptional sharpening skills, and continues to invest in the further development of these skills through continuing education. Catherine has sharpened instruments for a wide variety of clients, notably Texas A&M University College of Dentistry, formerly known as Baylor College of Dentistry. She currently sharpens for multiple departments including Graduate Periodontics, Graduate Endodontics, and Pedodontics. Other clients include private and corporate practices, as well as fellow hygienists. Cathy’s experience and educational background make her an invaluable asset for any practice looking to improve chair side efficiency and elevate patient care.
